What changes for foreign drivers?
Drivers entering EU countries, for example from Belarus or Russia, in a vehicle with Belarusian or Russian registration will need to purchase European border insurance. Our company can arrange insurance for a vehicle registered in:

What is the cost of insurance?
The cost of an insurance policy depends on many factors, including the owner’s driving history, the vehicle’s year of manufacture, mileage, and accident history. Once this information is provided, the insurance agent can calculate the premium and, where available, split the amount into several instalments.
What should you do if you bought a car with existing insurance?
First, agree with the previous owner that the existing policy will be transferred to you. You then need to inform the insurer that the vehicle has changed ownership. Insurers generally require this to be reported within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle. The premium will then be recalculated for the remaining policy period, and the insurer will send you information about any additional amount due. The policy will ultimately be reissued in your name.
If the previous owner does not transfer the policy, you will need to take out a new insurance policy.

If you purchased an annual policy, it is generally renewed automatically, and you will need to pay the premium (or its first instalment) within the following 7–14 days. The policy is not renewed automatically in the following cases:
- The vehicle changes owner
- It is a one-month policy (komisówka)
- The vehicle has been reported as deregistered
