Who can receive a guest invitation?
- Polish citizen
- EU citizen residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland
- A foreigner who has continuously resided in Poland for 5 or more years
- Legal entity
- Foreigner with a permanent residence permit
- Foreigner holding a long-term resident's EU residence permit
How do I issue a guest invitation?
To apply for a visitor visa, you need to receive a special invitation from the Polish side. Both your close relatives and friends can receive such an invitation for further visa application. Depending on the period of time specified in the invitation application, you can obtain a D-visa (issued for a year with a 365-day stay) or a C-visa (issued for up to 5 years with a stay of 90 days per half-year).
Conditions for receiving a guest invitation.
- The inviting party undertakes to pay the expenses related to the stay of the invited foreigner in Poland;
- Fill in the application form with the passport data of the receiving and inviting parties;
- Provide a document confirming the ownership of the residential premises;
- Pay the state duty in the amount of 27 PLN;
- Provide an identity document.

You can apply for a guest invitation after booking a visit on the website https://www.e-uslugi.mazowieckie.pl/.
After booking a visit, you should come to Department for Foreigners (Wydział Spraw Cudzoziemców, ul. Marszałkowska 3/5, 00-624 Warszawa) on the scheduled date and time. On the same day you will receive the invitation.
