What is consular registration?
Consular registration is the registration of a foreigner in the consulate of his/her country, permanently or temporarily residing on the territory of Poland.
What does consular registration provide?
1. Let's start with a nice thing: every Ukrainian who has received a consular registration stamp can enter Ukraine with his/her vehicle (if the vehicle is registered to him/her) for 60 days per calendar year. Let's take an example: You received consular registration on 15.06.2021 for 360 days and left on 16.06.2021 to Ukraine. You returned after 60 days (15.08.2021). Next time you can leave for Ukraine on 01.01.2022 for the same 60 days;
2. The opportunity to participate in elections while in Poland;
3. In case of emergency, the state will be able to ensure the safety of its citizens.
These are the main advantages of having consular registration.
