The simplified system of obtaining a Polish travel document for citizens of Belarus has been extended until 31.12.2024.

Polish travel document (Dokument podróży) dla cudzoziemca is a document certifying the identity of a foreigner, which is issued to those foreigners whose passport has been lost, damaged or expired, and the foreigner cannot obtain a new passport.

Grounds for obtaining a Polish travel document.

To obtain a Polish travel document, a foreigner must have:
- A permanent residence permit;
- A residence permit of a long-term resident of the EU;
- Temporary residence permit referred to in Article 186 Section 1 point 9 (temporary stay granted in connection with the issuance of a visa for humanitarian reasons);
- Additional protection;
- A residence permit for humanitarian reasons;
- Belarusian citizenship and any type of residence permit (until 31.12.2024).

What is the cost of issuing a travel document?

For citizens of Belarus, the fee for the production of the Polish travel document has been canceled. Citizens of all other countries have to pay 350 PLN for the production of the Polish Travel Document.

The application for a Polish travel document must be submitted to the voivode of the foreigner's place of residence.
