Blue Card Residence Permit
The Blue Card (Niebieska Karta UE) is a residence permit for highly qualified specialists.
It is a special type of residence card for non-EU citizens with high professional qualifications.
What does the Blue Card provide?
Residence permit for up to 3 years with the possibility of extension;
The right to work without additional permits for a specific employer;
Free movement across EU countries (up to 90 days in each country);
Possibility of family reunification;
Easier path to permanent residence and citizenship;
After 18 months – the right to relocate to another EU country while retaining Blue Card status.

Salary of at least 150% of the national average gross income (in 2025 – from 9,878 zł gross/month);
Health insurance;
Registered address in Poland.
