What is the cost of insurance?
The cost of an insurance policy depends on many factors, such as the length of service of the car owner, year of manufacture, mileage, presence/absence of accidents, etc. After providing such information, the insurance agent will be able to calculate the cost of the insurance policy and, if necessary, divide the amount into several payments.
What should you do if you bought a car with existing insurance?
First, you need to agree with the previous owner of the car to transfer the policy to you. In this case, everything is simple: you need to inform the insurance company that the car has changed ownership. Usually, insurance agencies require you to report this within 30 days from the date of purchase of the car. Then the amount of insurance will be recalculated, taking into account the remaining days on the policy. After that, a letter will be sent to your mail from the insurance company with the amount to be paid extra. Eventually the insurance policy will be reissued to you.
If the previous owner refuses, you will have to get a new insurance policy from the beginning.

If you have purchased annual insurance - yes, your policy will be renewed automatically and you will need to pay for it (or the first part of it) within the next 7-14 days. The insurance policy will not automatically renew in cases of:
- Change of ownership of the vehicle
- If it is a monthly insurance policy
- If it has been reported that the vehicle has been deregistered
